ASOEBI PURCHASE POLICIES​
These policies apply to all asoebi fabric and sewn clothing purchases made through the Simply Asoebi platform.
1. Order Acceptance & Contract
When you place an order or submit a quote request through our platform, you are making an offer to purchase the products or services selected.
Your order becomes a legally binding contract once we send you a Confirmation Email confirming the items or services to be delivered. Until this confirmation is issued, all orders remain subject to acceptance.
By placing an order or submitting a quote request, you confirm that you are:

Able to enter into a legally binding contract

Responsible for providing accurate contact, delivery, and measurement details

2. Pricing & Payments

All prices are shown in GBP and include UK delivery unless stated otherwise.

International shipping may incur additional charges; where applicable, these will be communicated before your order is processed.

Prices and availability are subject to change, and we reserve the right to correct pricing errors prior to order confirmation.

For tailoring services accessed via the platform, all quotes are provided directly by third-party designers and tailors. Simply Asoebi does not set tailoring prices and is not responsible for pricing errors or subsequent changes agreed between the client and the designer.
3. Purchase Cut-off & Order Deadlines

Each event has a clearly stated purchase deadline (cut-off date) displayed on your event portal.

All orders must be placed before this deadline.

Once the cut-off date has passed, no additional orders, changes, or cancellations can be accepted on the platform.

4. Delivery & Shipping

UK and international orders are shipped via tracked delivery services.

For deliveries within Nigeria, orders will be fulfilled using local courier services. Such orders will not be delivered in Simply Asoebi branded packaging and will not include souvenirs. Responsibility for onward delivery or collection after initial successful delivery rests solely with the customer.

We aim to deliver orders within the timeframe communicated on the portal, typically several weeks after the purchase window closes. Delivery timelines may vary depending on order volume, proximity to the event date, and the service level selected.

You will receive an email notification once your order has been shipped.
5. Returns, Refunds & Tailored Products
a. Final Sale After Cut-Off
All sales are final once the purchase deadline has passed. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds after this date, except where required by law.

b. Order Corrections Before Cut-Off
If you need to update or correct your order before the purchase deadline, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@simplyasoebi.com. Amendments are subject to production status and cannot be guaranteed.

c. Tailored Products (Sewn Outfits)

All tailored products (sewn outfits) are final sale at the point of purchase.

Refunds are not available for tailored products under any circumstances.

The initial tailoring price is based on the information submitted at the time of ordering.

Any additional alterations, repairs, or amendments requested after the initial quote, or required due to changes in measurements, design, or fit, will be charged separately and borne entirely by the Customer.

d. Tailoring Platform Deposits
Where you accept a tailoring quote via the Simply Asoebi platform, you will be required to pay a non-refundable 10% deposit of the accepted quote amount.

This deposit:

Serves as a referral and platform facilitation fee
-
Is non-refundable under all circumstances
-
Reflects your intention to proceed but does not constitute a binding obligation to complete the full tailoring service
Once the deposit is paid, Simply Asoebi will introduce you to the selected designer. All further communication, fittings, payments, and service delivery will take place directly between you and the Designer.

e. Refund Requests (Non-Tailored Products Only)
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please email contact@simplyasoebi.com.

Refund requests must be submitted before the purchase cut-off date stated on the website or event portal.

Requests received after this date cannot be guaranteed and may not be processed.

Where refunds are approved, any transaction, processing, or administrative fees may be deducted from the refunded amount.

6. Product Variations
Fabric colours, textures, and patterns may vary slightly from images or videos shown online due to lighting, screen settings, and production differences. Such variations are normal and are not considered defects.

7. Custom & Pre-Order Items
Fabrics that require bulk production or are tailored for you are considered custom or pre-order items and may require longer production and delivery times.
We recommend allowing sufficient lead time before your event, typically 4–5 weeks, depending on complexity and turnaround requirements.

8. Modification Requests
If you need to modify your order (e.g., changes to delivery address or product selection) before the purchase deadline, please contact us early. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but this is not always guaranteed and depends on production progress.

9. Tailoring Platform – Role & Limitations
​
Simply Asoebi operates as a facilitator and marketplace connecting clients with independent designers and tailors.
We do not:

Employ or supervise designers

Control how tailoring services are delivered

Guarantee workmanship, timelines, or outcomes
All tailoring services are provided directly by third-party designers. Any disputes, additional costs, delays, or quality concerns must be resolved directly between the client and the designer.

Simply Asoebi is not liable for:

Designer performance

Fit issues
-
Delivery delays
-
Additional tailoring charges agreed off-platform

10. Customer Responsibilities
When placing an order or submitting a quote request, you confirm that:

Your personal, delivery, and measurement details are accurate

You understand that tailoring outcomes depend on the accuracy of the information you submit
-
You are aware that once the purchase window ends, orders cannot be changed or cancelled
-
You accept that the 10% tailoring deposit is non-refundable

12. Use of Customer Data and Third-Party Sharing
​
To facilitate tailoring services for both men and women, Simply Asoebi Ltd, including its subsidiaries and Nigerian operating arm, may share relevant customer data (such as names, delivery details, style selections, and submitted body measurements) with approved third-party service providers, including designers, tailors, and courier partners.

This information will only be shared where necessary to fulfil your order or deliver the tailoring service you have opted into.
By placing an order or submitting measurements or quote requests, you acknowledge and consent to this limited data sharing for service fulfilment purposes.

13. Updates to Policy
​
We may update these policies from time to time. The version in effect at the time your order is placed will apply.
